Handmade Crochet by yay retro!
Hi there, I'm Sue who runs yay retro! I am now selling handmade crocheted items. From intricate crochet blankets and super soft stylish shawls to crochet Granny Square hot water bottles and arty crochet mandalas. With more designs coming soon, you are sure to find something gorgeous for yourself, your home or to give as a meaningful gift. I have been knitting and crocheting for over 30 years and also hold a Fine Art degree from The Winchester School of Art. I think that this background in the arts adds a little *something* to all of the crochet I make and sell.
With the resurgence of Flower Power and Vintage styling, crochet is currently enjoying a massive boom in popularity, I love the look and feel of crochet as it grows in my hands and happily I'm currently crocheting full time. I've made sure that all the yay retro! crochet items are inspirational and usable. Each is unique and a one off based on what colours and styles take my fancy. If you like something it's worth snapping up as I probably won't ever make another the same!
Vintage Homewares whilst stocks last
My online vintage shop is currently selling the last of my vintage ornaments and homewares. These will soon no longer be a feature on the website, so check out the items I have left for sale now.
I always try to describe each item honestly, and in real detail. Everything is always carefully checked over, hand washed and dried, before packing very safely. This ensures it arrives in the same condition as it left me, ready for a new life in your home.
Buying from yay retro! is So Easy
UK Mainland Postage and Packaging is included in all my prices, this makes it so much simpler to buy the things you'd like.
