How do yay retro! take their photographs?
Recently we have had lots of enquiries asking how yay retro! take all of the photographs of the vintage china that we have for sale, so I thought I would write a blog post about it. I was a professional photographer for nearly ten years before setting up yay retro!, and have a degree in Fine Art.
I have set up a mini photo studio, and have lots of different backgrounds to choose from. I use a Canon 5D MKII digital SLR camera with a 24-70mm lens, and a remote radio controlled off camera trigger for the flash, I take all of the photos in RAW format.
All of the images are individually processed in Adobe Lightroom, and converted to jpg format. Hope that's explained it all :0)
