Rapid Apple and Raspberry Jam Recipe

Today I made jam!

Here's my rapid jam recipe:

Wash your jars in a dishwasher on high to sterilise them (or put them in the oven on high).
Put some saucers in the freezer - these are to test that the jam has set later....

6 Golden Delicious Apples - cored, peeled & chopped into small chunks
2 boxes of frozen raspberries
3/4 pint water
3lb Jam Sugar

Bring the fruit to the boil in the water and cook until soft.
Add the sugar and stir, when melted bring to a rolling boil for 10 minutes stirring all the while.
After 10 minutes, place a teaspoonful of the jam onto one of your frozen saucers. Leave the jam to cool then push it with your finger, if it wrinkles the jam has set. (If not cook for another 2-3 minutes and test again)...

Once the jam is ready, allow to cool for a while. Now ladle the jam into the jar, seal immediately and you're ready to go!
