How to serve Cheese - Retro Style

Ceramic cheese dishes are perfect for storing cheese in the refrigerator, with no need for polythene bags or cling film, they are much less fuss!

We love the simplicity of this cream coloured Burleigh Ware vintage cheese dish. This looks to be from the 20s or 30s and has a clean rectangular shaped lid with a neat handle. The base has ridged indentations and curved edges, so a nice juxtaposition of forms. If you love understated, good design this is for you!

This would look lovely on any Summer time tea or supper table, as it's simple design would match any pattern of china from floral to traditional.

The large melamine triangular tray we have in the yay retro! shop right now, reminds us an extra large piece of Dairylea cheese! It is illustrated with Scandinavian style drawings of people from around the world, along with the names of their cheeses.

Ideal for serving a large range of cheeses on your tea or supper table and a talking point too!

Remember to serve your cheese at room temperature for a fuller flavour :O)

If you are looking for a way to present a simple, quick cheesey snack - how about this 70s cheese board? With space for one cheese and some olives or nibbles on the side, this board comes with it's own built in cheese knife.
