We just found this lovely retro green SylvaC vase in a little village shop. Not being great at flower arranging, we thought we'd test it out, and were delighted by the way the vase naturally got the flowers to sit in an attractive position. The slimline design of this cute little posy bowl means that it would be great for displaying flowers on a windowsill or mantelpiece.
At a minimal £12.00 in the yay retro! shop, we think this would be perfect in a minimalist white and green lounge ;o)
Made by Shaw and Copestake Ltd (1894- 1982) , SylvaC is best known for it's range of earthenware animals - my Mum has a collection of SylvaC rabbits. They also made dogs, woodland animals and even fish!
