Recently yay retro! had an online chat with Delia from the Campervan Cookie Company...she tells us that way back in 1973 her parents bought a Devon Caravette for holidays and school runs, happily for Delia this lovely van became her own in 2009 with just over 60,000 original miles, little work was required on its completely original Devon interior…apart from a good clean!
The Campervan Cookie Company was set up about 5 years ago, and combines two of her (and our) favourite things – delicious handmade biscuits and the coolest vans! Delia's mission is to make beautifully decorated, fantastic tasting handmade cookies, using the best ingredients, sourced as locally as possible. All cookies are made to order, allowing a great deal of personalisation – and therefore make a really special gift, which can be posted anywhere in the EU.
Although the range has since expanded to include party and wedding favours and gift boxes on almost any theme, campervan cookies are still the most popular line. As well as standard splitty cookies, they can make Beetles, bays, T25s and the more modern models – often matching colours and number plates to customers’ own vehicles….or that of their dream van! You can find out more about Campervan Cookies on their Facebook page or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org
We're off to place our first order...retro china, cookies and VW's the perfect combination!blog comments powered by Disqus
