Marcello Fantoni Lion Mid Century Wall Plaque for sale

Today I have listed a Marcello Fantoni Mid Century Lion wall plaque for sale on the yay retro! website. Fantoni worked in Italy making artworks which were influenced by both Modern and Primitive art. Highly collectable, this is one of the rarest and most valuable items yay retro! have ever had for sale.

Fantoni also created rectangular, irregular shaped lion pots and vases with a similar lion design as well as other one off unique wall plaques. This wall hanging has a bright yellow and orange lion on a green background. The wonderful thing about the piece is that it is all hand worked so that you can see the hand and mark of the artist.
