Summer Orange & Yellow Vintage Kitchen & Camperware at yay retro!

With all of this gorgeous sunshine-y weather, I thought I would put together some top picks from the yay retro! online vintage shop in bright oranges and yellows to reflect this mini heatwave we are having (here in Devon anyway!)

My picks this week include a gorgeous set of 1960/70s Thomas Rosenthal fine bone china handled dishes or bowls. We adore the orange stripes on these and think they would be ideal for side salads and desserts like ice cream as well as for soup or prawn cocktails.

Alongside these and looking rather fab together, is a lovely vintage melamine tray decorated with yellow and orange flowers. We love these as they can be used as a background to any vintage display anywhere in your home, as well as for carrying things! Don't forget if you are looking to kit out your vintage camper or caravan then a vintage tray like this is really useful to get food and drinks from inside your van to your table outside in the sun!

On the subject of camper vans, beneath the tray we have a lovely genuine 1960/70s Gaydon Melmex butter dish in yellow. These are highly sought after by campervan  and home owners alike.

Finally, we have a super duper 'Working Kitchen' cake storage container in bright orange. Perfect for those of us who love to bake and take our goodies around to a friend to share, or to store safely in your kitchen until tea time!

You might like to know that you can easily find things by colour using the search box in the shop - look for the search box on the right when you're in the shop. Do enjoy your browse at yay retro!
