The History of Dartington Glass in our Retropedia now

yay retro! have over the years written many pages about the history of vintage brands. We have just added a new page to our Retropedia (which can be found in the footer of our website) about Dartington Glass.

Having just relocated to Totnes in South Devon, we wanted to find out why Dartington Glass was called this, when the factory is actually in Torrington in North Devon.

yay retro! have been selling vintage Dartington Glass whenever we find it as we love Frank Thrower's designs. We noticed that Dartington Glass has a Scandinavian quality and feel and wondered why this was? All is revealed on our Dartington Glass Retropedia page which can be found here.

You can see the vintage Dartington Glass we have available to buy in the yay retro! shop here.
