Vintage Christmas Shopping Secrets - yay retro!

I've actually finished my Christmas shopping, I always start really early (as early as June if I see something), and buy things as soon as I see them if they are 'just right' for the person I am buying for. That way I don't forget where or when I saw things, I don't miss out as someone else has bought it before me, and I spread the cost painlessly. I never shop in big towns and cities relying mainly on the internet which makes the Christmas season much more relaxing. Sorting everything early means I don't end up with any horrible last minute panics.

I've got some special orders being made by lovely crafters on Facebook, and I do have a few little things coming from the internet for hubby, other than that everything is here ready to wrap, and yes I have my wrap and handmade tags which I bought on Etsy!  Every Christmas I buy a lot from small businesses as I know they have great personal service and the gifts will be unusual and unique.

This morning, I had a wander through the yay retro! online vintage shop, and selected some lovely vintage Christmas present ideas. These range from 1960s fine bone china cups and saucers and tea sets to vintage china mosaic artworks from Box of Frogs Mosaics.

yay retro! also have vintage children's toys, vintage barware and glasses and vintage kitsch ornaments, including deer, Dala horses and much, much more...
