Vintage Dishes with Flower Power from yay retro!

The wonderful thing about vintage china and pottery is the amazing patterns that were created in the the 1960s and 70s! Right now yay retro! have some great original dishes & bowls in stock decorated with huge floral designs - The highly collectable and looked for 'Flower Power' by Washington Pottery, and J&G Meakin's Galaxy pattern.

'Flower Power' was a term used during the late 1960s and early 1970s, which referenced the hippie movement, and psychedelic explorations in music and art. Designs from this period often utilise the large daisy motif which was to become a bright design classic, beloved of many households from the 1960s. The positive Daisy symbol has just as much impact today, with designs such as these being very sought after with contemporary vintage homeware collectors. Click here to view or buy the yay retro! 'Flower Power' and J&G Meakin ranges. Combined postage available on yay retro! stock items.
