Style your 70s Home
At the moment we have a fab range of 1970s kitchenalia, cups, saucers, plates and of course original 70s soup bowls for your Heinz tomato soup - a regular feature of a Saturday lunch time in our house!
Orange was one of the main colours of the 70s, (along with turquoise.) Right now in the yay retro! shop we have 70s tea towels such as good old Fergus Oxo the Bull below, many of our vintage knits and linens appear unused as this does. Team up with orange melamine cups and saucers for a wonderful retro feel - melamine such as Gaydon was actually designed to be used in the kitchen, although many use it in camper vans and on picnics today.

To complete the vintage look, kit out your kitchen with table mats, spice racks and other knick knacks such as the funky flowery clipboard we have from Taunton Vale.
When evening comes along kick back and relax with a Pimms or other suitable 70s drink in one of our vintage glasses and nibble your peanuts 70s style from a nibbles serving tray from yay retro! oh yes! That's the life ;o) blog comments powered by Disqus
