The new publication which launches on January 22nd, will be featuring products for sale from yay retro! in their March issue. This is available from 3/3/16 at WH Smiths, Morrisons, Tesco. Sainsburys and all good newsagents.
The magazine's focus is on UK interiors and is written for people with a passion for unique design and decoration - well that's us - yay retro! - we can't wait to get a copy! The first issue features some incredible venues and makers with top notch photography, so I will be ordering my copy from their website as soon as it is launched early next week. yay retro! were absolutely delighted when Homes & Antiques magazine got in touch to ask if they could feature our Woods Beryl and Jasmine tableware in a shopping article in their June 2015 magazine.
Our Beryl teapot and Jasmine cups and saucers are featured in their 'Pretty Pastels' Journal on page 31, which shows how you can mix old and new together to create a candy coloured 1950s feel in your home.

Really pleased that yay retro! has been featured in issue 29 of Homemaker Magazine, the Feb/Mar 2015 issue. The editor of Homemaker approached me wanting to ask some questions about why I love running yay retro! and vintage tableware so much, also for tips and advice on collecting retro homewares. yay! Some of yay retro!'s Hornsea items have featured in Homes & Antiques magazine this month. Check out the February 2015 issue now for a fab 10 page article and photo spread 'Pots of Appeal' on page 70, which is all about wonderful 1960s and 70s Hornsea!
The feature includes so many lovely Hornsea wares from cute animal vases to the delicious stripy 'Summit' ware designed by John Clappison. Several piece which we have now sold make an appearance including an Heirloom Spice Rack sold to James in November, Royal Blue Spice Jar sold to Nina and a Summit butter dish bought as a Christmas gift by Elizabeth for her good friends (hope they loved it as much as I did!)

Happy New Year everyone! 2015 is here, and what a lovely surprise to open a copy of Your Vintage Home magazine and find that yay retro! are featured on pages 84/85?!
I bought the magazine for inspiration as we are moving home, and relocating to Devon to be nearer to our family in the next month or so. Being packed full of ideas covering every angle of vintage home & garden styling it was the perfect choice. Flicking through it after midnight last night, I was very happy to see the 'Dinner Service' article which features yay retro! and originally appeared in Homemaker magazine being included. Very pleased to see that yay retro! have been recommended again as a supplier of vintage wares by Homes & Antiques magazine. In their October issue we are listed as the place to buy 1970s enamel coffee pots at the end of their Liberty Belle feature (p58). We have sold the coffee pot in light blue as shown, however yay retro! have lots more vintage enamelware in stock including the jolly red number above!
